SIGNING OFF PERFORM AT BRIAN TRAVERS MEMORIAL EVENING

22nd of August 2021 brought the devastating news that founder member of UB40, Brian Travers had passed away after a three year battle with cancer.

UB40 fans from across the UK and even the world started to organise a memorial evening in memoriam to Brian. The evening was held at The Hare & Hounds in Kings Heath, Birmingham (the first venue UB40 played at in 1979) on 3rd October 2021.

Signing Off headlined the evening amongst many other artists including 'Winston Francis', 'Hunterz' (who performed on the track 'Reasons' with UB40 in 2005) and saxophonist 'Aaron Garcia' who had travelled from Hawaii to perform his saxophone tribute live after releasing it online which racked up thousands of views in a matter of time (https://youtu.be/q6Y-WvbONzA).

Hundreds of UB40 fans were in attendance to commemorate Brian including UB40 keyboard player 'Tony Mullings' and UB40 guest and Birmingham rap artist 'Gilly G'.
